How I Passed the AWS Certified AI Practitioner – Study Guide, Resources, and Exam Insights

Introduction

With the rapid growth of AI trends across the industry, it’s clear that AI is going to play a major role in shaping the future. Rather than focusing only on using AI tools for content generation or surface level use cases, I wanted to gain a clearer understanding of what happens behind the scenes of AI technologies and how they actually work.

At the same time, I was also interested in learning what AWS has to offer in supporting and enabling these AI solutions, especially since I work closely with AWS in my day to day role. The AWS Certified AI Practitioner – Foundational certification provided exactly that balance, which is why I decided to pursue it.

How I Studied and the Resources I Used

I started with Stéphane Maarek’s [NEW] Ultimate AWS Certified AI Practitioner (AIF-C01) course on Udemy and completed it in around two weeks. During this phase, my focus was on understanding the concepts rather than diving deeply into every lecture. If something felt unclear, I revisited it later for better clarity.

After completing the course, I moved on to Stéphane Maarek’s Practice Exams for AWS Certified AI Practitioner (AIF-C01). I spent about two to three weeks doing these practice tests repeatedly until I consistently scored in the 90s and felt confident with the exam format and question style.

Once I felt ready, I scheduled the exam. Interestingly, the exam result showed that I had passed immediately after submission, with the official results being shared later. Around four hours after the exam, I received my final score.

Final Thoughts

The AWS Certified AI Practitioner certification is a great starting point for anyone interested in AI and cloud. It provides the right balance between AI fundamentals and AWS service awareness without being overwhelming.

If you are already working with AWS or planning to move into AI related domains, this certification is definitely worth considering. It helped me build clarity, confidence, and a stronger understanding of how AI fits into real world cloud solutions.
